Donkey Balls: “What Time Is It Now?”

Here’s a scene from the 2004 movie Le Barzellette (translated into English as “The Jokes”), which is basically a series of sketches based around corny old jokes with no real discernible plot from what we can tell. It was directed by Carlo Vanzina.

The peasant with the donkey is Gigi Proietti, a great Italian cinema/theatrical actor, who plays several parts in the movie, including a waiter, a conductor, a farmer, a lawyer and his client, a Mexican singer and finally God the Almighty, reinterpreted as a comedian.

You may actually recognize that it’s pretty much the same joke told by Cheech Marin in this scene from Cheech and Chong’s Next Movie:
