#29: Cowboy – Kid Rock

Speaking of cowboys. The thing I really admire most about Kid Rock, besides banging Pam Anderson, is that he seamlessly walks the line between country, rock and rap and makes it look completely effortless.
Believe me that is NOT easy to do, I’ve been trying to do it for ten years now and I’ve only pulled it off once.

#28: 17 Ways To Break My Heart – DMX Krew

#27: Don’t Nobody – Phat Kat

A forgotten child of Detroit. Jay Dee (RIP) produced this song – totally blew me away when I heard it, has like this weird dystopian sci-fi street sound. Has a great line too: “bringing drama to your clique like Susan Lucci” — Susan Lucci!?

#24: NanoTek Warrior Soundtrack – Nano3

Nanotek Warrior was a game for Playstion that came out in 1997 and it was the absolute shit. It was a tunnel runner game; something like Tempest and the insanely good Nitrous Oxide. My friends and I would consume copious amounts of 64 oz Dr. Peppers or Mountain Dews from AM/PM and play this game for days at a time, taking breaks only to go to Taco Bell for bean burritos. This was the one track on the game that always got me pumped to rule the tunnels.

#23: Bumps & Guys – US Maple

Such an uncomfortable band! This song is perfect if you like to get really really stoned and don’t have any weed-paranoia issues.. but, if you do, it’s waaaay better! favorite band of all time.
- Scott

#22: Black Hole Sun – Soundgarden

I went into a semi-demonic trance listening to this on the radio one day. My dad came in my room and said “Shut off that crap you’re listening to!” I didn’t even really like this song, but I will always remember it now, along with Chris Cornell’s face.

#19: Motown Philly – Boyz II Men

One of the best songs of all time, let alone the nineties! It’s not too hard, not too soft, and when this comes on…I rip off my Unionbay jacket and move my body!
- D’Hoochie

#18: Tallahassee – Earth

Things have taken a turn for the ditch.
- Daniel

#17: Half Man, Half Mole – Chris Knox

Most everything this man has done has in some way completely inspired and moved me.
